An Outreach art instructor provides students with stimulating and fun lessons, which meet the curricular needs of students in the following areas: Art, Math, Science and Social Studies.

Cost

Art to Grow for Kindergarten is completely FREE of charge and is our gift to the community as a nonprofit organization.

Who can use Art to Grow for Kindergarten?

Classes are available for Pre-K through Kindergarten and is open to Memphis area schools–city, county, private and parochial. In addition, this Outreach program also travels to other Mid-South communities within a 60 mile radius of the Dixon. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis with any teacher. Teachers can only make one reservation for their class per school year.

Times

Art to Grow for Kindergarten operates in area schools Wednesdays and Fridays from approximately 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. In order to best utilize the program, the museum requires at least two sessions or teachers from one particular school to book a program on a given date. Each program lasts approximately 30-45 minutes. The instructor can present programs to as many as four or five individual classrooms per day, depending upon location, school hours, etc.
