Victorian Visions, an exhibition of sixty-seven drawings and watercolors from the National Museums & Galleries of Wales, on view from May 9 through July 18, was comprised of works by Victorian artists, primarily from England. This exhibition examined methods and motivations behind drawings and paintings of this era. Some of the works in Victorian Visions were produced simply to capture the moment, drawn as a memento or as a way of perfecting techniques, others are preparatory studies for paintings decorative schemes and designs for three dimensional objects; finally, some are watercolors conceived as finished works of art. This exhibition was toured by International Arts and Artists and sponsored by Union Planters Bank and Dixon Life Member Society.
