The Painted Kiss  By Elizabeth Hickey

The Dixon is pleased to introduce Elizabeth Hickey, author of The Painted Kiss and The Wayward Muse. Ms. Hickey will join us for the spring 2008 BooksmArt session with a delightful lecture and reading of the featured book.

In The Painted Kiss, a passionate and atmospheric debut novel, Elizabeth Hickey reimagines the tumultuous relationship between the Viennese painter Gustav Klimt and Emile Flöge, the woman who posed for Klimt's masterpiece The Kiss --and whose name he uttered with his dying breath.

There will be a book signing following the lecture.

Elizabeth Hickey's book will be available for purchase in the Museum Shop.
