During this day-long event, the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry will be discussing the history of boxwood, landscape use, and cultural information including pest control. The current challenges of boxwood blight and successful strategies for living with this disease will be the most important topic of the day.

Speakers include Lynn Batdorf, International Cultivar Registration Authority for Buxus, and Bennett Saunders, Owner of Saunders Brothers Boxwood Nursery. They will participate in a round table discussion with local experts Dr. Chris Cooper and Booker T. Leigh, UT Extension, along with Leslie Hollandsworth, UT plant inspector and Katy Kilbourne, UT plant pathologist.
