Welcome to Pets Family Day!

Taking care of something you love is an important part of life. Pets teach us so much about how to grow as people. Celebrate pets of all kinds, plant, animal, rock, or imaginary beast! Join the Dixon for a day of virtual pet-themed activities and experiences for everyone.

Family Day Performances

Jacana Jacana

Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County

Since 1933, the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County has been providing shelter, food and medical care for thousands of injured, neglected and abused animals. Out of the Woods Wildlife Rescue

As tempting as it may be, you should never try to keep wild animals as pets. If you find a clearly injured animal, it’s best to leave care up to the experts! Out of the Woods Wildlife Rescue and Rehab is a safe place for injured or orphaned wildlife to get the help they need. Find out what to do if you find an injured animal and meet the animals currently being cared for by Out of the Woods here!
