November Family Studio Recap:Collage

Thank you to everyone that came out to Family Studio. It was quite chilly outside, but inside, we were nice and cozy while we crafted. Our craft this month was a simple one, and you probably have everything at home to recreate it.

We used 3 simple things:

  •  Paper
  •  Glue
  • Scissors
You'll need a plain piece of paper to begin with. This is the background for your craft. You'll also need other paper. It can be colored, or patterned. All of our paper scraps were patterned. You can use the scissors to cut your paper scraps into random shapes, and even trim shapes as needed to get the desired effect. Once you have your shapes, you can start assembling them to see what happens, or you can sort through them to make something specific. You can layer them, or leave room in between. It's up to you. There is really no end to what images to can make out of shapes.
