Phoebe Cook Lecture: Page Dickey

The Phoebe Cook Lecture series brings outstanding speakers in horticulture, conservation, and floriculture to Memphis, and was established and endowed by the late Phoebe Cook Welsh in memory of her mother, Phoebe Cook. Gifts from the Welsh family, the Memphis Garden Club, and friends in the Memphis community continue to fund this series.

Page Dickey, acclaimed author of eight books, garden designer, and co-founder of The Garden Conservancy. Page has been writing about and designing gardens for over 30 years, and she now gardens in Connecticut on 17 acres, the topic of her new book Uprooted: A Gardener Reflects on Beginning Again. Page will discuss the transition she faced walking away from her celebrated garden at Duck Hill and starting over.
