Conversations inspired by 'Fidencio Fifield-Perez and Vanessa González: Location, Location, Location'

Guests who attended Art After Dark at the Dixon on August 17, 2017 had the opportunity to meet the two featured contemporary artists at the opening reception for the exhibition Fidencio Fifield-Perez and Vanessa González: Location, Location, Location. Since the artists' work explores themes of immigration and identity, we asked people who attended the opening reception to share their own stories. Some of the responses to the questions 'Who are you?' and 'Where are you from?' are highlighted in the following video, which was filmed in front of Yo Soy From, a work in thread by Vanessa González.

The exhibition is on view through October 8, 2017,  and it is sure to spark ideas and conversations. Stop by the Dixon soon to experience Fidencio Fifield-Perez and Vanessa González: Location, Location, Location in the Mallory/Wurtzburger Galleries!
