The Dixon is closed on the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The Dixon will be open from 10am - 2pm on Christmas Eve.

Admission to the Dixon Gallery and Gardens is now free through the end of 2024. Enjoy the gardens in all seasons and explore the galleries often. A Blue Star Museum

The Dixon is a Blue Star Museum, a program offered by the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. Starting Saturday, May 18, 2019, Armed Forces Day, and ending on Monday, September 2, 2019, Labor Day.
