Girl Scout Badges at the Dixon
The Dixon Gallery and Gardens and Girl Scouts Heart of the South have teamed up to make it easy to earn a variety of badges at the Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette levels. Your troop will have fun learning about subjects ranging from painting to gardening while enjoying everything the Dixon has to offer.
Girl Scouts Badge Workshops are at capacity for the 2025-2026 school year. Please fill out the form to be added to the waitlist. Thank you for your patience.

Youth Workshops
Ages 10-13
Terrariums
Saturday, August 23, 1:30 - 3:30 PMDesign and create a whole new world, in a jar! Learn about how to build and maintain your own mini garden, then imagine and sculpt a creature to live there. Each participant will plant one terrarium with a hand-sculpted creature to live inside their tiny ecosystem.

Teen Council
ages 13-18
Teen Council members meet one evening per month, September through May, to plan teen events, exhibitions, workshops, and more. Meeting days and times change annually.
As a Teen Council member, you can:
- Build your college resume
- Earn service hours for school
- Explore new careers
- Receive a one-year Dixon membership for you and your family
- Make friends and work together to create teen programming at the Dixon!
