The Dixon Garden Fair Annual Plant Sale

The annual plant sale, Dixon Garden Fair, is a one stop shop for everything you need in your garden.

For the Connoisseur . . .

For the plant shoppers seeking the “rarest and most unusual” plants in the sale, stop by the For the Connoisseur section. You won’t find these choice perennials from Shikoku Gardens in Japan at your local nursery!

Dog and Peonies Show

Well, we won't have any dogs, but we have plenty of peonies. We have quite a few of Itoh Peonies for sale. Itoh Peonies, also known as intersectional hybrids, tend to resemble tree Peonies. After the flowering cycle, enjoy the handsome bush for the remainder of the season. Once established, Itoh Peonies have an extended blooming period, with as many as 50 blooms in a single season due to their ability to produce primary and secondary buds. They are excellent in cut flower arrangements. They will grow to three feet tall and wide and continue to improve with age.

Perennials, Hostas, Heuchera...Oh my!

Geranium and Dahlias are just two of the many perennials that are available this weekend.

Caladiums!

We are delighted to offer a choice collection of fancy leaf and strap leaf caladium bulbs. All varieties will grow well in filtered shade or afternoon shade with morning sun.

For the kids!

If you garden, than you probably have a small set of eyes that see you create a space using flowers and plants, which means they want to try it too. We have special sections of herbs that even the smallest hands can learn to manage.

Trees

Hibiscus and hydrangeas are a part of this weekend's offerings. Don't miss your chance to find these, and other wonderful plants for shade and sun at the plant sale. A variety of vines and shrubs are available as well.
