Tie the knot at the Dixon
Tucked away in the Woodland Gardens, the Hughes Pavilion is an elegant venue that can be transformed to fit any style. Large skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows offer ample light and a panoramic view of woodlands, lawns, and garden sculpture; the surrounding patios allow your event to expand into our outdoor gardens.

The Dixon's sprawling, seventeen-acre grounds include two garden spaces to choose from for a ceremony- the Bowlin Stage or the South Lawn. Receptions are held at the Hughes Pavilion, a beautiful brick building with floor-to-ceiling windows, accompanied by an outdoor tented pavilion and patio spaces.

Both ceremony locations can accommodate up to 200 guests. The Hughes Pavilion can accommodate up to 200 for a cocktail-style event or anywhere from 80 to 150 for a seated meal.
Various amenities are included with your rental, including a seasonal tent over the main patio. The Dixon is proud to partner with Savor Catering by Chef Phillip Dewayne, who provides on-site catering.
