POSTPONED | Symphony in the Gardens

Due to the high chance of thunderstorms, we have made the difficult decision to postpone today’s Symphony in the Gardens event.

The safety and comfort of our visitors, staff, and musicians are our top priority.

The rain date for the performance will be Tuesday, May 12. Gates open at 5PM, the show will begin at 6PM. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Dixon for a beautiful afternoon of music in the gardens.

Celebrate Mother's Day with music performed by Memphis Symphony Orchestra Big Band, joined by special guest, Susan Marshall, on the Dixon South Lawn.

Picnics are welcome! Food will also be available for purchase from Memphis Dawgs, Flipside Asia, Halinka's Polish Eatery, and MemPops.

In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12 with doors opening at 5:00PM and the concert beginning at 6:00PM. Please check this event listing at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 10 for updates if inclement weather is expected.
