Pumpkin House

Every fall, the Dixon's horticulture team creates a whimsical Pumpkin House in our gardens— a structure built from more than 1,200 pumpkins and gourds. Constructed and maintained throughout October, the Pumpkin House delights thousands of families, and its image is widely shared across social media.

Best of all, it’s free for everyone to enjoy.

The Dixon gardens are spectacular in every season, and fall is no exception. Enjoy vibrant fall color from blooming plants and seasonal displays throughout the gardens. For the sixth year, visit our beloved Pumpkin House, constructed from hundreds of pumpkins. A favorite Dixon tradition and perfect family photo opportunity, the Pumpkin House is a joyful celebration of the beauty and bounty of fall.

Help Us Grow

Become a Pumpkin Patron

This year, we’re inviting the community to help sustain this beloved tradition. With a suggested donation of $250, you can play a special role in bringing the Pumpkin House to life. As a thank you for your generosity, your name will be recognized on a sign at the Dixon entrance, and you’ll receive a complimentary family portrait taken in front of the house by a Dixon staff member.

Once your donation is received, our staff will contact you to schedule your portrait session.
