Tucked away in the Woodland Gardens, the Hughes Pavilion is an elegant venue that can be transformed to fit any style. Large skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows offer ample light and a panoramic view of woodlands, lawns, and garden sculpture; the surrounding patios allow your event to expand into our outdoor gardens.

The Dixon’s sprawling, seventeen-acre grounds include two garden spaces to choose from for a ceremony: the sweeping expanse of the South Lawn, and the more intimate circle of the Bowlin Stage. Experience the virtual tour on our Youtube channel.

Wedding Reception at Night with Lights at the Dixon

Both locations can accommodate up to 200 guests, while the Hughes Pavilion can accommodate up to 200 for a cocktail-style event or anywhere from 80 to 150 for a seated meal.

Various amenities are included with rental, including a seasonal tent over the main patio. The Dixon is proud to partner with Park+ Cherry by Chef Phillip Dewayne to offer on-site catering.

For couples seeking to exchange vows in a more intimate setting, fifteen or fewer people, the Dixon offers a vow exchange option with smaller garden backdrops to choose from throughout the property.
