Weddings at The Dixon

Tucked away in the Woodland Gardens, the Hughes Pavilion at the Dixon is an elegant venue that can be transformed to fit any style. The large skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows of the Pavilion offer ample light and a panoramic view of woodlands, lawns, and garden sculpture; the surrounding patios allow your event to spill into the outdoors. Our sprawling, 17-acre grounds house two garden spaces to choose from for a ceremony: the sweeping expanse of the South Lawn and the more intimate circle of the Bowlin Stage.

Both ceremony locations can accommodate up to 200 guests, and the Hughes Pavilion can accommodate up to 200 for a cocktail-style event, or anywhere from 80-150 for a seated meal, depending on the layout and areas used. Various amenities are included with rental, and the Dixon is proud to partner with Park+Cherry by Chef Phillip Dewayne to offer on-site catering.

For couples looking to exchange vows in a more intimate setting, with 15 or less people, the Dixon also offers a vow exchange option, with smaller garden backdrops to choose from throughout the property. A ceremony-only rental option is also available for groups interested in hosting a larger ceremony, without a reception to follow.
